Bagpipes!
We've noticed that at the Commonwealth Games, a piper plays the introduction of the music for the medal ceremonies. Today we had a visit from Graeme, a bagpipe master! He talked to us about the history of the bagpipes and how they work. Then he played a few songs. Graeme was also dressed in the traditional Scottish gear. The piercing sound of the pipes was really impressive!

I thought Graeme the bagpipe master was amazing. The way he explained how the pipes worked and his history of playing them was interesting! I thought his uniform was very fancy, but respectful to the traditions of Scottish people!
ReplyDeleteThe Bag Pipes are really cool. I love listening to them and when i was younger i really wanted to learn to play the Bag Pipes.
