Over the past couple of weeks, the Student Council (supported by the Year 7 students) have been planning a mini Commonwealth Games for the students at Halcombe School. Yesterday, the day finally arrived! Each class rotated around six different events, having a blast along the way!
Congratulations to the Student Council and your helpers - you did an OUTSTANDING job. Well done team!
Thank you for organising and running such a successfull Mini Commonwealth Games Room 6. The challenges were full of original ideas, challenging tasks, and lots of fun!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed doing the mimi Commomwealth Games yesterday! My job was to make people eat a cube of ice. That was so funny to watch because everyone pulled funny faces!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed setting up part of the Mini Commonwealth Games, it was a bit chaotic at the start, but was a bit less chaotic when we were with the older kids.
ReplyDeleteIt looked like everyone was having a ball that afternoon and I wish we could do it more often. I found it hilarious watching all the kids do the ice challenge and the faces they made by the older kids when they tried to eat it! Over all I think it turned out to be a big success.
