The 'Ideal' Teacher

Today we worked with a partner to brainstorm ideas about what our 'ideal' teacher looks like.  This will give Miss Simpson some ideas about how to be the best teacher possible!  Here is a summary of we came up with:

REALLY GOOD SUGGESTIONS:

My ideal teacher would...

  • be happy 24/7, fun loving, makes jokes and pranks the kids sometimes
  • plan fun activities
  • recommend books
  • help us with our learning
  • hate tests
  • love people
  • be fair
  • be caring and kind
  • love sport
  • give warnings
  • be understanding
  • listen to you
  • give advice
  • join in activities
  • not tell us off if we got the wrong answer
  • care for the environment
  • give a good growling when needed
  • not be fussy about handwriting and what our books look like
  • let kids try to do things for themselves
  • be creative
  • be happy and positive
  • love art
  • be tough on bullies
  • change the desks around every month

RIDICULOUS SUGGESTIONS THAT MISS SIMPSON WILL IGNORE:

My ideal teacher would...
  • let us have free time every day
  • bake stuff and give it to the class
  • give us free lunch
  • have a French accent and a moustache
  • let us play computer games all day

  2. It was hard to come up with ideas for this. Although I can't imagine Miss Simpson with a french accent and a moustache Jensen.

  3. Those are really good suggestions Room 6. I really like the ridiculous ones that we came up with. My favourite one is the french accent and the mustache. Really funny.

    1. Merci Mrs Alcock. Considering I only know about three words of French, I think I did very well!
