Interschool Swimming Champs
Great news! Our school swimming team (Willow, Jade, Lydia, Greer, Mya and Ffion) won the Country Schools relay at the Feilding Interschool Swimming Champs. All the girls swam superbly well, and we had a clear victory. Ffion and Greer made it to the final of the 100m freestyle race too. Greer came fifth and Ffion won! What an awesome effort. Mya and Georgia represented our school in the Penhey Cup (based on swimming technique), and Mya came second. Congratulations girls - a great night for Halcombe School!
Great night at the swimming last night. Awesome job girls. Go Team Halcombe!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to everyone who took part in last nights swimming event. Halcombe school must be so proud to have so many good swimmers in their midst and it was awesome to be there to cheer you all on. You all looked so proud of yourselves on the rostrum with your medals and certificates and cups. You all have winning smiles too. Well done Lydia and everyone for doing your best.
