Space Art

We've been working on some SPACE ART.  We had to draw a sun, 3-4 planets and either a space shuttle or an astronaut.  Then we had to use pastels to colour the planets, making them as 'life-like' as possible.  Next came the background - two coats of black paint!  We learnt about blending pastels smoothly and we tried to make our brushstrokes go in the same direction.  You can read our reflections about our art on our blogs.  This art looks really effective on the wall - way better than in the photos!
