Inspired by Oskari (the main character in the book we're reading - 'Big Game') we've been constructing our own miniature bow and arrows. They are really easy to make and you only need insulation tape, string and skewers. Some people did find it a bit tricky, especially trying to get the length of the string right. But, we worked together and got the job done:
Today it was finally time to test-fire our weapons.... and we saw everything from amazingly awesome, to worse than terrible! Now we have 24 hours to practice before the big competition tomorrow!
They look awesome Room 6. A lot of concentration in some of those photo's.
