Flippaball Finals

Our first Interhouse Competition has come to an end.  We've been playing lunchtime games of flippaball for the last week, and today it was time to find out who the champions were! Matai faced Rimu in the playoff for 3rd and 4th, and after an awesome match, Rimu came out on top. The final between Totara and Kauri followed. It was a very physical game, with both teams desperate to win! In the end, Totara took it out. Well done to everyone involved, and a special congratulations to Totara.     There was so much suspense at half time as Kauri were wining 4-2 but we came back and bet them 8-4. I was so happy!

    Flippaball was very fun, although Kauri couldn’t quite take down Totara. It was a very fun, challenging, interesting and a great game. Kauri played very well I think considering most of the people didn’t know how to play. It was very interesting getting more people to sign up, but all we said was it is a great way to cool off at lunchtime. Congratulations to Totara for taking us down. Also to Rimu who managed to bet Matai in the play-off for 3rd and 4th.
