- it's a great opportunity to practice our leadership skills
- we find out about risk taking and sometimes experience failure
- it allows us to work with a mixture of people
- our fine motor skills (skills required to do 'fiddly' things) develop
We adapted a challenge we did in 2015, when the task was to make a ramp to make the marble roll as far as possible. This time, we had 45 minutes to make the marble roll EXACTLY three metres. There was a lot of excellent discussion as each group made tiny adjustments to their ramps. Everyone managed to get very close to the line. Well done team!
There was a lot of tension...
You all looked like you had fun working in teams but I think that there must of been bumps on the carpet stopping them go over the line!

ReplyDeleteWow! Many of you got really close to the 3 metre mark - a grand effort. Reckon I'll give my kids a go at this challenge and see how they get on.
