Mathex Awesomeness
A number of people from our class competed in the Manawatu Mathex Competition on Friday. They have been training for weeks, and were excited when the big day finally arrived! The Year 7 team placed 21st out of 39 teams and the Year 8 team placed 1st = out of 41 teams! What an amazing achievement! Thank you to Mrs Simpson for preparing our teams for Mathex again this year.

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome achievement this year for the year 8, they have worked really hard as a team for many years and to see them come 1st equal at their finale year at Halcombe. I was very proud of them, to watch and hear the results on the day was awesome A very big thank you to Mrs Simpson for all the hard work that goes into this and being a wonderful maths teacher
