NZRAF At Halcombe School

Well today we had a wee bit of a special visit from the New Zealand Airforce.  Thanks to a couple of awesome parents who are in the Airforce, we had a visit from a $60 million beast of a helicopter, an NH90.  It was really interesting to learn about the helicopter and some of the things it is used for.  Sooooo cool!  Next time we want a ride!

    It was cool to see the helicopter land, because I knew straight away it was from the Air Force. It also made me want to go into the Air Force even more!

    I really enjoyed the helicopter coming but we didn't get enough time to take a look at the whole helicopter.

    It was an awesome surprise, the helicopter was huge and weighed so much. I learnt a lot about the helicopter and it would be amazing if we got to ride in it.

    The helicopter was awesome! It was huge and it was cool to see what it looked like on the inside. I was amazed that it could fit 18 people in it! The other facts were really interesting ad it was a really cool experience!

    It was so fun watching the NH90 come in to land it took a while for the motor to stop.

    It was so cool seeing the Helicopter flying in. I thought the facts about the Helicopter were really interesting and the weight of the Helicopter amazed me and that it could carry cars and other heavy things.

    I really enjoyed watching the helicopter. I think everyone loved it ecspesillay the little child's! It was a great experience going inside of it. A highlight was learning facts about it.

    I liked seeing the NH-90 helicopter. The inside of the chopper was amazing with lots of buttons, gadgets, bags and seats!

    The helicopter amazing, it was huge and it made a really big wind. I really wish we'd had a ride!
