Swimming Sports

What a fantastic afternoon we had at the Makino Pool for our school swimming sports.  We were a bit worried about the weather, but it turned into a beautiful day!  It was awesome to see everyone trying their very best, and swimming flat out in all their races!  Congratulations kids!

 An extra special congratulations to the following students who won trophies today:
Georgia:  Barnett Cup - fastest 50m freestyle swimmer at Halcombe School
Jack:  Wishnowsky Trophy - Senior Boys Champion
Gussie:  Wishnowsky Trophy - Senior Girls Champion

 And, well done Rimu - double house relay champions!

    Swimming sports was heaps of fun, Kauri did really well except for coming last in both of our house relays. Well done everyone who won cups!

    I really enjoyed swimming sports and I was so proud of myself for winning the Barnett Cup! I also liked doing the house relays because Rimu won both Junior and Senior!

    Swimming sports was lots of fun, but I wish I could have done a bit better in some of my races. There is some great action shots there.

    It was a great day watching all the races but it was sad that I couldn't swim and I wanted to, but congratulations to Georgia for winning the Barnett cup! Everyone did a great job.

    It was really fun at Swimming Sports. I didn't get 1st, but I got 3rd twice. I can't wait until next year. I like the photos.
