Rafting Trip
After waiting nearly a year, we FINALLY got to enjoy our rafting trip today! Earlier in the year, we won a fantastic prize which meant we were able to go rafting for free. Today was worth the wait - we had the most awesomely cool day with the Mangaweka Adventure Company. The rafting was peaceful, scenic and fun... with a MASSIVE, bumpy rapid in the middle. The water was beautiful and warm, so everyone enjoyed a swim too. Thank you to MAC and Horizons Regional Council for allowing us to enjoy such a great day. Thank you to the parents who came along today too - you were awesome!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed rafting in Mangaweka, my favourite part was when Tommy and I had a competition against Marie and Rebekah who could push them off the most.
ReplyDeleteRafting was really fun i really liked the big rapids and when I nearly fell out.
ReplyDeleteRafting was really fun but swimming was ultra fun because the current was really fast and dragged you out!

ReplyDeleteIt was a really fun time out and having a day off school. There was one time I almost fell out of the raft on, the gaping jaws of death wave. My favourite part of the day was going for a swim in the nice and cold water. Thanks for the day out.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed rafting, I had so much fun and it was a great day full of laughs and good times. I loved getting out for a swim, and going over the huge wave!

ReplyDeleteIt was an amazing day, and I really enjoyed getting to push people out of the raft. The huge waves were awesome, and the water was soooo nice, and was the perfect temperature. I was funny getting interviewed by the Horizons Regional Council, and I really enjoyed my trip.

ReplyDeleteI had a great day out rafting yesterday. It was so awesome and I liked the big rapids. I also really enjoyed swimming because the river was very warm.

ReplyDeleteI had a lot of fun white water rafting again as a class. I really enjoyed floating down the river and taking the day off of school for the day, and I enjoyed pushing people out of my raft and having a laugh.
