Earlier in the week, we did some cool Kiwiana Art with Mrs Bremner, our relieving teacher. We had to research Kiwiana images, draw one, photocopy it three times and colour it in four different ways using one colour. It sounds a lot more complicated than it was! They turned out really well - check out these awesome examples:
Your Teacher always has such cool art things for you children to do. These are awesome! Wish I was back at school.
ReplyDeleteVery effective use of colour, Jasmine, Jago, Victoria and Alex. I particularly love the fantail because you managed to capture their cheeky nature in your drawing, Jasmine. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteWonderful detail on this artwork.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the kids using their imagination in their art. Must be so hard judging so many good drawings.
ReplyDeleteI loved doing this art work because it is very different to other art work. I like how it is one colour and not a bunch of different colours.
ReplyDeleteA very effective piece of artwork. Love the fantail Jazz
ReplyDeleteThis Kiwiana Art was very fun to make. It looks very effictive on the wall too!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed doing this art, I can't wait to see if we do it again.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed doing this art. I would do it again. Thank god we got to photocopy it otherwise it would have taken ages!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed doing this art work, it was really fun to do and everyones art looks different. I liked how we only used one colour, even though you don't think it will look as affective, I reckon that it looks even better!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of one colour to show different aspects of the details, it is very effective.
ReplyDeleteThat looks fun, I love them.
ReplyDeleteWow, this art looks great. It is great to see that so many people love NZ!
