Processing Information
Today we learnt all about Ancient Egyptian writing, known as hieroglyphics. We read loads of interesting information about hieroglypics, scribes, and how the Rosetta Stone helped to translate hieroglyphs in the 1800s. We had a good look at the hieroglyphic alphabet, deciphered some sentences and then wrote our own!

After that, we practiced putting information into our own words using a special technique called Note Making and Note Taking:
Today we worked with a partner to complete this task - next time we'll be on our own!
