The Udjat - Eye Of Horus

We have been learning about the Udjat, or Eye of Horus.  Egyptian myth states that Horus lost his eye during a battle with another god, Seth.  With the help of other gods, Horus recovered his eye.  'Udjat' translates to complete/healthy/intact.  This eye became the symbol for everything to do with healing.  It is also believed to provide protection against all imaginable dangers!

We looked at lots of different examples of the Udjat, then drew our own:
