Here is the letter they wrote:
Dear Property Brokers
We are a group of 25 Year 7 and 8 students from Room 6 at
Halcombe School, near Feilding. We love rugby and many of us already go to the
Turbo’s games, as we are all keen, dedicated fans! We love the Bucket-Heads and have even made
our own for school events.
We play a lot of rugby and rippa rugby at Halcombe
School. Each year we enter the Rippa
Rugby tournament and often have games and mini tournaments at school too. We have recently played rugby against Bulls
School, where we won 67-47, in a winter sports exchange and will face South
Makirikiri School next week. We can’t
wait to tackle this game with enthusiasm and will hopefully win!
In 2011 most of our class went to watch the Rugby World
Cup game when Argentina played Georgia, in Palmerston North. Everyone enjoyed
this and we had a lot of fun cheering for both teams!
When there is a big rugby match on, our class places
friendly bets on the score. There is always an awesome prize for the
winner! This encourages everyone to
watch the game and get involved. At the
moment we’re all deciding what we think the score will be in the All Blacks vs
Australia game on Saturday.
We all would love to win the prize and it would be a
great opportunity to show the Turbo’s and their supporters how enthusiastic and
dedicated we are towards a good old game of rugby.

Fantastic letter,girls! You make some very persuasive points which will be hard for the competition organisers to ignore. Wouldn't it be so much fun be a Junior Buckethead? Good luck!
