Interschool Speech Competition

The night of the annual Interschool Speech Competition had arrived!

Over the past month, Hannah and Molly have been preparing for the competition and both girls learnt their speeches by heart - not an easy thing to do!

Finalists from St Josephs and North Street School arrived and the competition began!

Well done girls, we are really proud of you.  Double congratulations to Hannah, who won the Year 7 competition - awesome work Hannah!  The Year 8 competition was won by Gabriella from St Josephs.

  3. We are very proud of you Hannah, what a wonderful job you did delivering your speech, it is a difficult thing to do to stand up in front of people and speak. All the speeches were amazing with lots of thought put into each and every one. You practiced hard and long as I am sure everyone did.

  4. Hi,
Well done Hannah and Molly, I know how hard it is to learn a speech by heart, and how hard it is to speak in public. Congratulations on 1st place!
Were you nervous before the competition?
    What was your speech about?
    How long was your speech?
