Rain!

Our whole district is having a bit of trouble with the weather this weekend!  Hopefully everyone is safe and well and dry! If you have any pictures of the flooding around your house, email them through to Miss Simpson and she'll put them on our blog - dsimpson@halcombe.school.nz.

    Wow! I would love to do the cross country now and play tennis on the courts. We could all go swimming!

    The flooding on the way to Levin is way worse than Halcombe.

    The floods sure did a lot of damage to roads and people houses. In Wanganui there were people sitting on top of their house roofs. They didn't get it as bad in 2004 but they did this year.

    Luckily it was in the weekend or other wise people couldn't get to school. Don't want to do cross country with the little creek higher than me!!
