Interhouse Tug Of War Competition
This afternoon we had an epic interhouse tug of war competition. All the houses faced each other, earning points along the way. Then the two houses who had the most points faced each other in the final. It was hard work and our muscles were very tired at the end. Well done to Matai who won the Junior competition and Totara, who won the Senior competition.

I knew our house was strong but I didn't realize we were that strong.
ReplyDeleteWe tried our hardest, but we didn't come in the top 3, but we have the smallest group, so it wasn't our fault for losing. Other than that, well done Matai and Totara.

ReplyDeleteThe tug of war competition was great because our junior house won for the juniors. It was hard holding onto the rope because it would start to hurt our hands and we would want to let go, but we didn't. Congratulations to Totara for winning the senior tug of war.

ReplyDeleteThis was really fun. Although Rimu didn't win any, we gave it our best and enjoyed ourselves.
ReplyDeleteThe Tug Of War competition was lots of fun. I am proud of the juniors in Matai for taking out the junior competition!

ReplyDeleteKauri did not do very well in the tug of war because was don't have as many people in our house as others. Congrats to Totara and Matai.

ReplyDeleteKauri were not very good. The Juniors were great they won 2 out 3 rounds and were in the final. The Senior team all got knocked over.

ReplyDeleteTug of war was really fun to play. We won all of our junior matches but we ended up getting betten by Totara but that was the senior team. It was pretty hard facing them but the rest of the other teams weren't as hard.
