Colour Day was awesome! Everyone in our class dressed up and really got into the spirit of the event - there sure were some pretty cool outfits! We had a parade to show off our gears (and our dance moves), which was heaps of fun. Later on in the day, we had spiders for lunch! Congratulations to the student council for organising such a great day!
We raised about $200 from spider day. We have used this money to buy nine rugby balls and eight soccer balls. These are being sent to Fiji, to be given to kids over there who are still recovering from the terrible Cyclone Winston that swept through the area a few weeks ago.
Colour day sure looked like fun it was a shame I was away for it though.

ReplyDeleteI thought colour day was fantastic! I loved drinking the spiders and I am happy I won a prize for the most coloured girl in our class! I'm sure everyone enjoyed that day.

ReplyDeleteColour Day was awesome! It was so cool seeing what people came up with and all the effort we all put into it. Spider day was quiet stressful specially when we thought we ran out of ice cream! I can't wait to see what's next.

ReplyDeleteIt was great to see everyone so colourful, it was like a kaleidoscope of colours. Well done to everyone who won a prize, also making the spiders was fun too. Eventually we had a system going. Thanks to everyone who made a donation I am sure Fiji would love it.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy doing these 'events' the student council come up with. It was a great idea to with the money we raised to buy PE gear and send it over to Fiji. Well Done student council!
ReplyDeleteMan colour day was awesome and I especially enjoyed the spiders. There was so many flavours like lime, orange, rasberry and coke.

ReplyDeleteWow everbody had amzing costumes at colour day it was heaps of fun and I was amazed at the effort everybody put into thier costumes! Those spiders were delicious definetly worth the $2! Even better that all the money went to a good cause!

ReplyDeleteIt was great to see everybody making an effort to have an awesome costume on Colour day! The spiders we made were delicious even though they made a big mess. It was great to see so many children wanting to make a donation for Fiji. Overall I really enjoyed Colour day.

ReplyDeleteOne word to describe colour day, stressful. The spiders were so difficult to handle. Especially when we thought there was no ice cream left, but we figured it out. I enjoyed the parade though.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great day it was. It was like an Artist Pallete with all of the colours of students dressed. the spiders were great and the weather was great too.
