Interhouse Patter Tennis Finals

It was GAME ON this afternoon!  It was finally time for the Interhouse Patter Tennis Finals!  First up Rimu faced Totara in the play off for 3rd and 4th.  Despite some excellent shots by the Rimu players, Totara managed to beat them.  Next was the final between Kauri and Matai.  It was looking very good for Kauri, but thanks to some great skills by some of the Matai players, they managed to steal the win!



 There was some excellent sportsmanship on display throughout the tournament:

    Interhouse Patter Tennis was really fun, Matai did great with no losses the entire tournament! Congratulations to all the other teams too for playing awesome!

    Matai had a good game yesterday they played well but I was hopping to face them in the finials.

    Great work Matai. We had some great shots, and played as a team. Well done to all of the patter tennis players for some excellent shots, and good sportsmanship. Thanks Miss Simpson for giving up your lunch times to ref our games.

    Well done Matai! You guys were so good at patter tennis. The whole competition was really fun and the final was really intense!! I thought Matai was going to lose at one point!! Everyone did really well and tried their hardest, good work guys!

    I really enjoyed the patter tennis finals especially when the last few people on each team were battling for the number one spot, but in the end Matai won!

    Patter tennis was heaps of fun, I really enjoyed playing the inter-house matches. I'm really happy that Matai managed to pull off the win, it looked like we were going to lose.
