Learning to use the poi was very fun because I learnt how to do the butterfly and that was the first time I had used poi.
I'm glad I learnt how to do poi when I was in room 4, because otherwise I would be hopeless.
I had fun trying to do all the moves even though I sometimes hit myself.
The poi was definitely really hard to learn and well done to those few who have already mastered it. Everyones definitely getting there! I can't wait until we perform.
We definitely have some practicing to do, thank you Hilary, Jaxson and Jago for performing the rakau and poi for us!
Poi is very fun and everyone loves to learn new moves. I can`t wait to show everyone what we have learnt at the end of the term.
